Chief Minister of Sarawak has announced 25% discount on assessment rates payable for Rateable Properties in Sarawak. For Miri City Council, this is affected 30,313 Rateable Properties, which are include Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Special Purpose properties.

Rate payers can make a payment of assessment bills at Service Sarawak Counter at UTC with effect 27th May 2020, Wednesday. Ratepayers who wish to pay the assessment bills using online, they can subscribe to Sarawak Pay or Paybills to make a payment. 

For those who have paid the assessment rates for year 2020, the overpayment will be contra to the next active bill(s) or next year.

We are pleased to informed that the Sarawak Government has approved to extend the due date for first half assessment rates to 31st October 2020.
